Reef shark

The blacktip shark from the Carcharhinidae family lives in shallow water on the coast and reefs of the Indo-Pacific region. Alone or in a group, they are active but timid, fleeing when they feel endangered. They are in perpetual motion due to the absence of branchial muscles which means they are obliged to swim night and day to breathe.
